2022 SUMMER BASKETBALL CAMP

Oxnard PAL, (newly retired) Officer Kevin Thompson, and the rest of the SRO team hosted another year of summer basketball camp after a two-year break due to COVID. Camp typically runs the last week of June from Monday - Thursday. Kids get a camp shirt, learn some of the basic fundamentals of basketball through drills, get chances to earn badges and medals, and show what they learned through a series of scrimmages at the end of the week. This year, we had Officers Carey, McBride, Murillo, Hurtado, Roberts, Robbs, Ramos, and the Oxnard High School Boys Basketball team helping out. We also want to thank Chingon Bakery for stopping by with some delicious cakes for us all to taste!
